some studies and some imagination.  used macbook pro, sketchbook pro, and wacom bamboo create.

got a wacom bamboo connect the other day.. i'm digging it!  still learning how to use it, but its awesome!  This one was done with sketchbook express.  gotta figure out how to make tighter lines.

5 weeks into figure drawing class and we still don't have a model.... Am bummed. Tonight was hands.

Well...

Bad days at work, always mean good shopping days! It only took an hour to set up and there were NO extra parts!!!! At least I won't "look" like an imposter.....

(grin) I've always wanted an easel..... Now to get it dirty!

i have 10 pages left in my sketchbook that i started in august 2011.
10 pages!!! That means i've sketched 100 pages already
this will be the first sketchbook that i've actually completed all the way through.
that means, (giving each month 30 days) mathematically, i drew one and a half pages every day for the last 6 months.  There are not 110 pages in it now though, because i ripped a good 20 out because they stank so badly.

Figure drawing class starts on monday, i'm stoked.  not going to enjoy going to two different colleges, but okc does not offer much in the way of drawing classes.  i wish i lived in new york, i would go draw at the Met every chance i got.

my goal this year is to create a character that is completely mine.  then, to create its own environment.

so let it be written........
